Groundsure Screening
WHY CHOOSE SCREENING?

HOW DOES SCREENING WORK?
Using Land Registry Title polygon to capture all features within the specific property and boundaries, the Groundsure Screening provides detailed environmental data assessments on contaminated land, flood risk, ground stability and geological hazards and uses a range of datasets to ensure a reliable overview of risk.
The report utilises Groundsure’s unique historical land use database which includes detailed and specific land use information dating back over 175 years. It also contains datasets from trusted data providers including the Environment Agency and the British Geological Survey.
It also clearly identifies potential forward climate risk impacts to the property within the ClimateIndexTM model, supporting your ESG compliance through better client card advisory for potential climate impacts to the land or property. Key transition risks from climate change impacts that could affect property decisions are covered including property-specific EPC ratings for all properties contained within the boundary with a comparison to others in the area, EPC assessor recommendations for energy improvements, guidance on commercial Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards (MEES) and existing and proposed Net Zero goal policy changes.
The data is reviewed by specialists within Groundsure’s consultancy team who provide an opinion and are on hand to answer any questions you may have about the findings within the Screening report. Environmental insurance is available if required.
